We continue to follow our leader's recommendations - not having worship or activities at the church. Bishop Deborah Hutterer, Governor Steve Sisolak and President Donald Trump have all recommended we continue on the path of social distancing, STAY HOME for all non-essential reasons through the end of April.
The Storms of Life
Recently received from a gentleman new to the congregation-
"The first time I walked through the door for Sunday morning worship I could feel the energy of the Holy Spirit throughout the place. That’s when I knew I was home. I’ve been to probably twenty different churches and all different denominations, but I’ve never felt that feeling, and the people were so awesome. I have always felt out of place when I would go to the first service at any church, but not at Holy Spirit. I felt like all of the people were my family. Thank you for sending the letters; they made me feel noticed. And I don’t think I’ve ever been treated so nicely, and that’s sad that I’m 52 and never felt that way before. It’s probably not all of the churches but where I was at in my life at that time. Well, I had better cut this short because I know you’re a busy man and I have got to go.
God bless you."
